Fully Restored From Bumper to Bed

This grand-prize 1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne C-10 is a fully upgraded “slammed” show truck, which retains its classic Chevy look from bumper to bed.

Let’s start under the hood, where nostalgia takes center stage. At first inspection, you might deduce you’re seeing a vintage Chevrolet small-block. The first telltale clue — painted Hugger Orange valve covers with italicized Chevrolet script — recall how Chevy V-8s were styled in the 1950s. In reality, the engine is a advanced-engineered, 485-horsepower GMC Denali 6.2L V-8 stroked and poked to a brawny 6.8 liters and disguised as an old-school small-block thanks to a vintage dress up kit with the coil packs cleverly relocated to underneath the block.

The power-packed powerplant bolts to a bulletproof GM 4L80-E automatic transmission and, continuing rearward, to a tarmac-taming 10-bolt rear housing a pavement-pounding Positraction and 4.10 gears.

During the restoration of this fantastic show truck, a Porterbuilt Extreme Dropmember with 4-link and coil overs, air suspension, CPP master cylinder, and four-wheel disc brakes and were installed.

It’s All in Black and White

Enter and win, and you’ll bring home this fully restored 1972 Chevy C-10 with show-quality paint in two-tone GM black and white hues and a custom interior featuring GM Buddy bucket seats recovered in top-quality red with plaid-insert interior, a floor-shifter, custom headliner, climate control, Billet Specialty steering wheel and door handles and Dakota Digital gauges. Don’t forget out back where the 6.5-foot shortbed is show quality, too. It features laminated bamboo bed planks.
